This is template text to let you know that there was/is a January 9th, 2007 Slashdotting in progress and it might make sense to do something about it now that this wiki is briefly in the lime light. This template is being placed on many user's pages and if you edit the template with suggestions for what to do about the slashdotting they'll show up on all the wiki users's pages. Whatever is done has to happen fast because by the evening of January 10th this site will be off the slashdot mainpage and drift back into normal usage levels.
Examples of things to do right now:
- Go to the January 9th, 2007 Slashdotting article and answer questions in the Q&A section.
- Go to the actual slashdot forum and respond to comments there (perhaps with deep links into the wiki?).
- Edit this very template to get your suggestions sent to all the other wiki users.

Spammer
Hi, I found that this project is interesting. I don't think I will ever be a real fabber, but maybe one day I can help to promote the device.
There should be a better mechanism to deal with spammers on this website. There are two new ones, Xdrs and Bskrui, they have placed many Chinese spams on this wiki, the first spam from Xdrs appears on June 11. I don't think that you know what they are writing :P -Wshun 09:26, 19 June 2007 (EDT)
There are many spammers using this wiki
Hi, I enjoy reading the info on this wiki, but lately have been forced to change myself into a cancel-bot for spam pages.
There are a few registered users that are problems, and I think you are able to take action by booting them off. Please see the Special:Recentchanges page for my comments.

Vandals, spammers, cleanup
I don't know if there is a section on this wiki to dole out the keys to custodial abilities. If flagged "sysop", I'd be glad to block spammers and use rollback. What I just saw in the recent change log is a little more than I'd care to manually revert. Thanks. Remi 21:11, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
