Complex product designs are those with more than 1 part, more than one material, mandatory use of support material, or very large size or delicate details. Obviously as user skills and system performance increases, what currently counts as complex will no longer be so.

Often one can find models online, free for downloading, to use directly for building objects, or also to be used as a template for building another model (e.g. an iPod model was used to design the iPod skin).
