I am a software engineer living in New Bedford, MA currently building a Model 1 Fab@Home. I am keeping a blog of the progress of my fabber at http://fabbingathome.blogspot.com

Once I have my fabber built, I would like to continue working along the following lines:

- Plastic extruder like RepRap
- Plastic dyes or colored plastic?
- Dual-head type extruder that can create both plastic and a filler material such as silicone or water-soluble filler
- Fabbing circuit boards - instead of PCB, would this be FCB, fabbed circuit board? =D

I also attend hacker conferences from time to time. This project falls out of the scope of the DefCon and Black Hat conferences but the attendees at the HOPE conference put on by 2600 magazine would love this type of do-it-yourself project hacking. I would be willing to collaborate on a talk/presentation and/or demonstration for the HOPE 2008 conference.
