Prep the parts

1. Place 6-32 inserts into the tool mount outer plate and the tool back plate for the tool you are assembling. This larger plate varies depending on the tool, but has the same arrangement of holes, only flipped vertically. Use a soldering iron as instructed here: Threaded Inserts for Thermoplastics.
   

Assemble

1. Attach the tool mount back plate to the tool mount mid plate using 6-32 screws.
   
2. Attach the assembly to the tool mount back plate.
