Note on mounting the Xylotex board: The Xylotex literature warns against over-tightening screws in the mounting holes. Over-tightening can crush the multilayer board and short the inner layers. One option is to use resilient washers. I just lightly tightened the nuts on the standoffs and then sealed the threads with Loctite to keep the nuts from coming off.

Note on mounting the microcontroller board: The circuit board of my microcontroller did not extend far enough beyond the connector to fit into the slot on the mounting plate. I tied the connector to the mounting plate with cable ties.

This page needs some prices - are these things $50, or $500, or $5000 ???
