Koba UVG-1 is a non-sag viscosity, fast curing Urethane Acrylate that bonds well to a wide variety of different substrates. Koba UVG-1 exhibits good surface wetting and adhesion to glass, and a wide variety of plastic based substrates.
Koba UVG-1 can be cured in 4-6 seconds when exposed to medium intensity UV radiation in the 300-400 nm range. A longer cure time on the order of several minutes is necessary when using Koba UVG-1 in conjunction with the low-intensity Koba LED-1 ultraviolet LED array.

Techniques and Notes
It is recommended that a green 18-gauge general purpose precision syringe tip with 1.50” stainless tube be used to dispense Koba P/N UVG-1. Print with the UV LEDs off. Once the build is complete, cover the syringe tip with electrical tape to prevent curing on the syringe tip, bring the tool over the part, and turn the LEDs on for several minutes. If the surface of the part remains tacky, a few minutes in bright sunlight will eliminate residual oxygen inhibition. Fully cured parts have excellent mechanical characteristics and can be drilled, filed, sanded, etcetera.
