Whilst the iPad 3G cannot connect via USB cable to a printer to print documents and PDFs, it may wirelessly post files to your AirPrint-capable printer. As regarding April 2011, only any handful regarding printers are AirPrint-able, including specific models of Hewlett-Packard printers out of the PhotoSmart, LaserJet, OfficeJet and Envy series. AirPrint is a relatively new feature that scans your region for compatible wireless devices plus supports printing for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Things You'll Need
AirPrint-capable printer
1 Strength on the AirPrint-capable printer and wirelessly connect the printer to your local network. Refer to your printer's manual to determine how to connect to a network. Alternately, insert an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on your printer and wireless router.
2 Tap "Settings" on the iPad's screen, also tap "Wi-Fi." Slide the Wi-Fi tab to turn it on, and connect to the same network the printer is on to guarantee connectivity.
3 Find the PDF, picture or file you wish to print on your iPad.
4 Click the right-pointing arrow icon within the best-proper corner regarding the image or file, and click "Print" within the pull-down menu.
5 Touch "+" in the Copy section about the Printer choices to increase the number regarding print copies, or tap "-" to decrease the amount of copies.
6 Tap the "Printer" tab to scan the area for the AirPrint-capable printer. Tap the title of the printer in the discovered devices list, also touch "Print" to start your print job. IPad 3.
