Some 4-slotted coin deposit has 4 separate areas so the pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters are separated. You can generate any simple four-slotted bank from 4 potato chip mays. The mays can either be the complete size or the snack size containers. You may decorate the outdoor about the mays with design paper, stickers or drawings. Be creative also add paper mache around the mays to form an interesting shape.

4 potato chip cans with lids Dish soap

Ultra fine permanent marker Old magazine Permanent markers

1 Scrub the inside of the potato chip containers. Waterless the interior. Set the containers aside.
2 Method, mark also cut a slot in the plastic lid regarding each container. Draw a little rectangle 1/4-inch wide by means of 1-inch extended from the center of each and every lid. Place the lid on an aged magazine. Lower the small rectangle away from the lid with a craft knife. The magazine protects the function area whenever cutting through the plastic.
3 Draw just one numeral denomination on each lid to designate which coins are to be inserted. Produce the numerals large and decorative.
Optional: Locate some image about any penny, nickle, nickel plus fraction on the computer. Enlarge the coins to 2 inches on diameter. Print the coin pictures. Cut the coins from and tape them to the inside of the plastic lids. Cut a slot through the paper coin the same size seeing that the slot within the lid.
4 Organize the potato chip cylinders to a straight line or a pyramid form. Tape the four cylinders together from three locations to hold them in place. Tear an 18-inch bit about tape. Start taping the cylinders 1 inch from the best rim. Wrap the tape completely around the four cylinders. Overlap every surplus tape. Repeat the method in the middle plus 1 inch from the bottom rim.
6 Center the cut design paper on the four potato chip cans. Location the top edge about the document simply beneath the best rim. Tape the side edge to a potato chip can. Wrap the construction paper around the mays. Tape the remaining edge to the surface of the construction paper.
8 Place a slotted lid on each potato chip container.
