Where to Start

We are looking to utilize a 3D printer for our Business Incubator. We will be having Student Interns from the University of Minnesota Science and Engineering departments coming to our location to use the machines. These students will be creating objects they design and also hopefully working with local manufacturing companies to design/build some of there parts.

We are not familiar with 3D printing whatsoever, and would like some guidance on how and where to start. I was guided to this website community by a U of M Professor - so that is how and why we would like to utilize this website.
