Linux port of FabStudio

I've been been hoping that there will be a port of FabStudio/FabInterpreter for the Linux OS. Talking with members of hackerspaces about my Fab@home, they are all disappointed (as am I) that it runs on Windows (and OSX) but not Linux. I am wondering how many more users we could attract if there were a Linux port of the software. How many current users feel the same?

Hi,

There is a linux port. FabStudio v1 and FabInterpreter runs on all 3 major operating systems. Download the source code and compile it using QtCreator. I haven't made a deb package yet, but if you make one I'll post it on our download page.
